Pineapple Sausage Kabobs

 

Grilled kabobs are so easy to make and the kids can help with meal prep! Thread your meat and veggies on a skewer and broil, barbecue, or throw them on a fire or camp stove. šŸ¢ā£ā£

ā£ā£These kabobs are THE.EASIEST to make for busy school nights when you donā€™t have time to cook and they donā€™t require a ton of ingredients! šŸŽ‰ā£ā£

ā£ā£Ingredients:ā£ā£

ā£ā£ā€¢1-2 packages Aidells chicken apple sausages (Samā€™s Choice chicken apple smoked sausages from Walmart have less fat if that is a better option for your macros).ā£ā£

ā£ā£ā€¢Sliced and cubed pineapple (we used the pre-cut slices from Costco for even easier meal prep)! ā£ā£

ā£ā£ā€¢Sliced red onionā£ā£

ā£ā£Instructions:ā£ā£

ā£ā£Soak wooden skewers in water while prepping the meat and veggies. Slice and cube the sausage and veggies and thread onto the skewers. Spray each skewer with cooking spray and broil In the oven or throw on the @traegergrills until the sausages are brown, about ten minutes. ā£ā£

ā£ā£Serve with grain of choice. We served our kabobs with cauliflower rice, which we sautĆ©ed with a few tablespoons of pineapple juice, a sprinkle of salt, and lots oā€™ cilantro. Drizzle your bowl with soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, or coconut aminos to your liking! ā£ā£
