Good Morning, Grapefruit!
Don’t forget that one of the best ways to promote good health and immunity is by eating nutrient-dense, whole food!
Grapefruit is low in calories and is a significant source of fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Eating this mighty citrus fruit can help boost immunity because of it’s high vitamin C content and other vitamins and minerals that can aid in fighting infection!
Instructions:
Slice the grapefruit in half and cut along the edges of the grapefruit to loosen it from the rind. Sprinkle the fruit with a dash of brown sugar, monk fruit sweetener, honey or maple syrup and place on the center rack of the oven on a lined cookie sheet. Broil for five minutes, cut side up. Remove from oven and serve warm with Greek yogurt and toppings of your choice!
