Sweet Chili Beef and Brussels
We love this Sweet Chili Beef and Brussels One Pan meal!
Ingredients:
16 oz. ground beef (we used 93/7)
12 oz. brussel sprouts, halved (broccoli works, too)!
1 TBS oil (we used sesame oil)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp black pepper
8 TBS sweet chili sauce
Instructions:
Microwave the brussel sprouts for two minutes until tender and then cut them in half. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add oil to the pan. Add half of the spice mixture to the ground beef and place in pan with seasoned side down. Cook for 2-3 minutes and flip and add the remainder of the spices and cook for another 2-3 minutes before breaking the meat apart into crumbles.
When beef is cooked, remove from pan and add brussel sprouts to the pan, cut side down. Cook for approximately 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
Remove from the heat and add ground beef back into the pan with the brussel sprouts and drizzle the sweet chili sauce over the top until coated evenly. Serve with rice, cauliflower rice, or additional stir-fried veggies.
