Sloppy Joes
Sloppy Joes are a family favorite and this 30 minute one-pan meal is an easy and delicious way to sneak in some extra veggies that everyone will love!
Ingredients:
16oz extra-lean ground turkey
100g diced onion
100g diced zucchini
50g yellow or orange bell pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbs red wine vinegar
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
3 tbs tomato paste
2 cups tomato sauce
1 tbs salt
1/2 tbs paprika
Instructions:
Heat large skillet over med-high heat. Brown the meat, season with salt, then add garlic and veggies. Reduce heat to medium and add vinegar and Worcestershire sauce and let simmer 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and tomato paste to pan and stir to combine. Cover and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Add meat to bun or lettuce wrap and serve!
