French Toast Bake

We are loving this quick and easy version of a French toast bake. Perfect for the weekends or for Christmas morning.

Ingredients:

4 slices of bread

2 eggs beaten

1 cup cashew milk (or any milk)

3 TBS maple syrup

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease small casserole dish. Place bread squares in the pan, face up. Combine all the other ingredients in a bowl and pour over the bread, ensuring all the bread is covered. Bake for 30 minutes and top with butter, syrup, fruit, cinnamon sugar, or whatever your macros allow!
