Managing stress is one of the biggest factors we see play into success.
Stress is your body’s hormonal and neurological response to your environment. This could be anything from a looming work deadline to your in-laws coming into town. Being in a caloric deficit is also considered a “stressor” on your body.
Stress can impact your success because it has a significant impact on your emotions, minds, and bodies. It impacts your training, sleep quality, food choices/behaviors and the way you relate to yourself and to others. It also impacts digestion, proper nutrient absorption and your ability to fight off that cold that has been going around the office.
